Balintawak Eskrima is a powerful, lightning fast stick-fighting martial art from the Philippines. Dr. Chris Strelau trains under Balintawak Seattle Instructor , Guro John Soriano. He is a Level 6: “Completion of the Art,” certified by Grandmaster Bobby Taboada. Dr. Strelau has also been authorized by Grandmaster Taboada to teach the basic curriculum at his school.

Balintawak training is exciting and practical. Dr. Strelau offers skilled, consistent Balintawak training in group classes or individually. Testing is optional but encouraged because as your skills improve. It’s fun to move up the Balintawak skill ladder.
